Fear is a great thing. You might be thinking, "What?" It sounds crazy, right? But, it doesn’t have to be this way.

The problem is not with the fear itself, but with the way we think about it.

Fear, in the right amount, can help us survive. It can help us make good decisions and stay away from danger. But too much fear can leave us feeling stuck—like we can't do what we want and go where we want to go.

Fear can be helpful. But when it stops you from reaching your goals, or if it makes you feel like you're not good enough—then it's a problem that needs fixing.

Mastering fear doesn't mean that you always feel great or are happy all the time. Instead, mastering fear means learning how to cope with and overcome your fears so that you can do the things you want to do. You can lead a life free from stress confidently.


Transform the Meaning of Fear

Tell yourself that you are feeling fear and that means you are about to take on something new or different and you need to prepare for it. You are about to face a challenge and it’s going to make you even stronger than before!


Face Your Fears with an Open Mind

The trick is to get curious about your fears—to learn to accept that you don't know everything and to turn toward them instead of running away. This will help you get closer to your fears and ultimately act from a place of confidence rather than react from a place of fear.


Be Grateful

It's easy to get overwhelmed with fear when we're constantly trying to outrun and outthink our problems. A proven antidote to this can be found in the practice of gratitude. Taking a moment to recognise the good in your life is a powerful way to put things into perspective. Realise that you have so much to be thankful for, even if you're dealing with difficult challenges.
